भाषा हे एक साधन आहे जे आपल्याला आपले विचार, कल्पना आणि भावना प्रभावीपणे मांडण्यास मदत करते. भाषेच्या विशाल महासागरात सर्वनाम महत्त्वाची भूमिका बजावतात. प्रात्यक्षिक सर्वनाम, विशेषतः, वाक्यात विशिष्ट वस्तू किंवा लोक दर्शवण्यासाठी गरजेचे आहेत. इंग्रजीमध्ये, प्राथमिक प्रात्यक्षिक सर्वनाम "This","That","These" आणि "Those" हे  आहेत. या लेखात, आपण प्रात्यक्षिक सर्वनामांचा वापर सविस्तरपणे पाहणार आहोत.

Types of  Demonstrative pronouns

इंग्रजीमध्ये तुम्ही बऱ्याचदा This, That, These and Those  हे शब्द ऐकले असतील पण त्यांना काय म्हणतात किंवा त्यांचा कसा वापर करायचा याबद्दल थोडेसे confusion असते. तर आज आपण अगदी साध्या आणि सोप्या शब्दांमध्ये त्यांचा वापर कसा करायचा हे शिकणार आहोत. 

This, That, These and Those  यांना काय म्हणतात?

तर This, That, These and Those  यांना एकत्रितपणे Demonstrative pronouns किंवा Demonstrative adjective असे म्हटले जाते. Such आणि one हे देखील Demonstrative pronouns आहेत.

Demonstrative pronouns (दर्शक वाचक सर्वनाम):

Demonstrative pronouns चा अर्थ होतो दर्शक वाचक सर्वनाम. 

कोणतीही दूरची किंवा जवळची वस्तू किंवा व्यक्ती दर्शवण्यासाठी ज्या सर्वनामाचा वापर केला जातो त्यांना दर्शक वाचक सर्वनाम असे म्हटले जाते.

उदा. हा, ही, हे, या, ते, त्या, ती, ते.

जवळची वस्तू किंवा व्यक्ती दाखवण्यासाठी: हा, ही, हे, या

दूरची वस्तू किंवा व्यक्ती दाखवण्यासाठी: ते ,ती, तो, त्या 

जसे की,

• हा माझा पेन आहे.
• ते माझे घर आहे.
• त्या माझ्या मैत्रिणी आहेत.
• हे काय आहे?

वरील वाक्यांमधील हा, ते, त्या, आणि हे या शब्दांचा वापर सर्वनाम म्हणून केला आहे जे काहीतरी दर्शवण्याचे काम करत आहे. यांनाच दर्शक वाचक सर्वनाम असे म्हटले जाते.

लक्षात ठेवा इंग्रजी शिकताना कधीच त्याचे जसेच्या तसे भाषांतर करू नये अर्थ समजून घ्यावा आणि त्यानुसार वापर करावा.

1. जवळ किंवा दूर असलेली कोणतीही  वस्तू किंवा व्यक्ती दर्शवण्यासाठी 

उदा.

• This is my house.
• हे माझे घर आहे.
• Those are trees.
• ती झाडे आहेत. 

2. एखाद्या गोष्टीवर जोर देऊन सांगण्यासाठी:

उदा.

• This is what I wanted to tell you.
• हेच मला तुम्हाला सांगायचे होते.
• I want this one not that one.
• मला हे हवे आहे ते नाही.

3. Determiner किंवा Demonstrative adjective म्हणुन वापर.

जेव्हा एखाद्या व्यक्ती किंवा वस्तू ची माहिती किंवा वर्णन करायचे असेल तेव्हा

उदा.

• I like this book.
• मला हे पुस्तक आवडते.

जेव्हा नामा आधी Demonstrative pronouns येतात तेव्हा त्यांना Demonstrative adjective असे म्हटले जाते.

4. प्रश्न विचारताना:

उदा. 

• What is this?
• हे काय आहे?

5. वेळ दर्शविण्यासाठी:

जसे की,

"this morning," "that evening," "these days," and "those years."

उदा.

• This morning, I woke up early.
• आज सकाळी मला लवकर जाग आली.

6. लोकांमधील संबंध दर्शविण्यासाठी:

जसे की,

 "this person," "that friend," "these colleagues," and "those relatives."

उदा.

• I trust this person.
• माझा या व्यक्तीवर विश्वास आहे.

7. Prepositions सोबत.

जसे की,

"on this side," "to that place," "in these circumstances," and "with those people."

उदा.

• The treasure is hidden on this side of the island.
• बेटाच्या या बाजूला खजिना लपलेला आहे.

8. Comparison करताना.

उदा.

• This is better than that.
• हे त्यापेक्षा चांगले आहे.

अशा अनेक प्रकारे Demonstrative pronouns चा वापर केला जातो.

वाक्यात जेव्हां This, That, These आणि Those नंतर क्रियापदाचा वापर होतो तेव्हा त्यास Demonstrative pronouns असे म्हटले जाते व जेव्हा नामा आधी This, That, These आणि Thoseचा वापर होतो तेव्हा त्यास Demonstrative adjective म्हटले जाते.
